cool! Your tool only allows only one bend at a time. with an insert for a metal brake you could make the bends in a plane and add the two horizontal bends at the end. So every bend would have the same rotation. Having bent many parts i would say the last piece is perfekt. The sum of errors throughout all bends is like what, two to three degrees? Thats nothing and very easy to compensate when welding.
That's a great idea! I'll keep that in mind if I have to make more with this same method. Yeah, it ended up working out pretty well, surprisingly. I just took a lot of time and kept checking the angle on my phone over and over.
