You can add Urea to hide glue to extend the open time. I think maybe like 8%.

I did see that -- it's crazy to see that people are interested in me fiddling around with some ancient glue haha
I actually like the comments abt vegans and vegeterians may not like the use of hide glue :D
But you did pick up on a rare combinatiom of materials. I have been meaning to experiement with 3d printed stuff submerged in epoxy though.
